We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Clerk to join our team!!

Job Duties:

• Record Management: Accurately and efficiently manage patient records, ensuring completeness, organization, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Data Entry: Perform precise data entry tasks to update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant databases.
• Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and data security in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and information flow.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely access to Medical Records as required.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and rectify discrepancies in patient records.
• Ability to complete additional tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional courses or certification in Medical Records management is a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience in Medical Records management or a related field is preferred.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Confidentiality: Demonstrated understanding and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
