SCHEDULE: Flex 5-Hour Days, Monday - Friday (25 Hours/Week)
Local Pediatric Healthcare practice is seeking a part-timeMedical Records Clerk to join their Oregon City location. This amazing team of specialists provide primary care for infants, children and teens, as well as specialty care plans covering developmental, behavioral, chronic and acute health conditions. JOB DUTIES:
As the Medical Records Clerk you will be responsible for maintaining the practice's Medical Records as well as communicating with other industry professionals who need to request and obtain patients' files. Having prior experience with document and file management, professional communication and customer service, and accurate data entry is a must. Your regular responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- answering phone, email, and mail correspondences
- updating any information into EMR software
- scanning patient charts, accompanying documents
- uploading patient information and documents onto discs
- organizing and sending requested Medical Records
- maintaining HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- providing professional communication
- assisting with special projects as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
- Min. 6 months of recent Healthcare career experience
- Prior experience with document/file management
- Familiarity with EMR software (Intergy preferred)
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Computer and software savvy
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent time management
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA
