Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Records Associate. As the Medical Records Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of Medical Records in a healthcare setting. This is a vital role that ensures the accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of patient information. Must have a clear understanding of HIPPA compliance.

Duties:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to medical record keeping
- Monitor the quality and completeness of Medical Records, conducting regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Train staff on proper record keeping practices, including the use of electronic health record systems
- Oversee the release of Medical Records in accordance with privacy laws and organizational policies
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical record technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and record keeping practices
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining Medical Records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other applicable laws governing medical record keeping

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
