Medical Record Clerk

Basic Functions: Responsible for the maintenance and organization of patient MEDICAL RECORDs in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and facility rules and standards and to ensure all records are secure, retrievable, and accurate.

Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assembles, analyzes, and scans all discharged MEDICAL RECORDs

· Ensures that clinicians have completed and signed all orders and notes

· Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning patients and facility affairs

· Interacts with outside requestors for release of information including sending invoices, collecting payments, and sending requested information in the appropriate format

· Assists hospital staff with MEDICAL RECORD

· Accurately enter and retrieve information from the EMR

· Requisitions MEDICAL RECORD office supplies as needed

Qualifications:

· High School graduate or equivalent

· Experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
