Job Overview

Meramec Dermatology is looking for an office assistant/receptionist to join our growing dermatology practice in Rolla, MO. Our practice is committed to providing an exceptional patient experience and a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and an upbeat personality. This is a PART TIME position. Expected days to work include Monday AND Wednesday 7:30 am- 4:00 pm. Additional days to work may be expected depending on clinical schedules.

Responsibilities of Office Assistant

- Presents a warm, welcoming environment to patients at the front desk

- Answers telephones, schedules patient appointments

- Scans medical information and insurance information into electronic medical record system

- Processes payments from patients

- Complies with all healthcare regulations including HIPAA and OSHA

Qualifications for Office Assistant

- High school diploma or its equivalent

- Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in English

- Dependable and reliable

- Must have a positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
