Our office is looking for a Medical Receptionist/Assistant/back office to join our team.
Job flexibility is available from 20 to 40 hours a week.
Pay will be based on the proficiency in skills described below. Training for specific duties will be provided and Employees will cross cover as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. RECEPTIONIST: Schedule office appointments and fill insurance details in Electronic Medical Record (EMR = Practice Fusion), Check balances and Collect Payments, Make and receive phone calls/texts/faxes in ring central, answer emails, scan and upload patient documents to EMR (Practice Fusion) etc.
2. MEDICAL ASSISTANT: Room patients, Check vitals, remove stitches/staples, change dressings, prepare injections, remove and apply braces/Splints/casts, Collect blood, send labs, give instructions to patients, cleaning rooms etc. Experience in Orthopedic Office will be an advantage
3. BACK OFFICE: Obtain Insurance authorization for office visits and surgeries, Medical Clearance for Surgeries, Schedule surgeries
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
