SalaryBusy Physician practice has immediate opening for an administrative assistant to assist in all aspects of front and back office. Excellent opportunity for new graduates with good computer and communication skills.
Office hours are Monday to Thursday 8:000 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to Noon. Looking for someone with flexible hours.
Duties include:
1. Taking phone calls and making appointment
2. Entering patient data into computer
3. Setting up examination room and helping in back office duties as required
4. Answering patient phone calls and assigning to providers.
5. Communicating with insurance companies and other health care facilities as needed
Employee should have good skills and familiarity with basic computer skills to work on electronic medical record. Must have good references. Employee must be personable and know how to work as a team player. No experience necessary and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided. Must have a clear background and be able to pass random Drugs and Alcohol testing. Competitive salary and benefits available but NO health insurance offered. This position will start off part time and likely move to full time by the Summer.
