Medical Receptionist

The Position:

We’re looking for a full-time front desk associate/patient care coordinator. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Answer phone
• Schedule patients
• Confirm scheduled appointments
• Check patients in for appointments
• Scan documents including driver’s license/insurance cards
• Set up patients on portal and send online paperwork
• Add patient appointments to online scheduling portal
• Check patients out following appointments including scheduling of advised follow-up
• Monitor patient schedule and communicate with doctors
• Update patient demographics
• Collect patient previous records and referrals
• Keep office tidy and fresh throughout the day
• Send electronic correspondence to patients
• Sort mail and distribute
• Clean office according to cleaning schedule
• Must be able to work Saturdays (8:30am-1:15pm)*

Hours:

• Tuesday: 8:15am-5:15pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am-5:15pm
• Thursday: 8:30am-5:15pm
• Friday: 7:30am-4:15pm
• Saturday: 8:15am-1:15pm

Qualified Applicants:

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable multi-tasking and enjoy working directly with patients/coworkers
• Are able to efficiently work with computers and tablets
• Enjoy working with all ages
