Medical Receptionist

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our medical office. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, dental receptionist, or in an administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
