Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
- Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Collect patient information and update medical records
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and schedule follow-up appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Confirm appointments with patients
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and questions
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is required
- Familiarity of Rheumatology office procedures and terminology a plus
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical records management
We offer competitive pay, PTO plus holiday pay. 3% match retirement plan. Optional Life, Accident, Short Term Disability and Cancer insurance. Best of all, hours are Monday through Thursday and can be flexible between 32-40 hours per week, hours 6:30am to 5:30pm and THREE DAY WEEKENDS!
