Medical Receptionist

```Responsibilities```
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain calendars
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Update and maintain electronic health records using medical software systems like Epic and eClinicalWorks
- Assist with billing and coding tasks
- Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

```Requirements```
- Proven experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems like Athena, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in a dental office, emergency room, or other healthcare settings is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
