About the Position
This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of a team that provides a high level of exceptional customer service in person and over the phone. Our wonderful Medical Receptionists are the first to greet, ensure the environment is welcoming for patients and their families, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with the check-in/check-out process, and verify patient information.
What do we look for?
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, tact, diplomacy, and patience
- Office experience required; related medical office experience highly preferred
- Must have strong customer service skills and experience
- Must have the ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with patients, supervisors, doctors, and team
- Must be mobile in an office environment; frequent standing, sitting, and walking
- Flexibility to be a part of a team in working a rotating schedule, 8 hour shift M-F, within the hours of 6:30am to 6pm (no evenings or weekends!)
Job Skill & Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of private information
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of standard medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to answer phones
- Basic computer skills
- Able to develop good customer relationships with a focus on achieving customer satisfaction
