Job Description
Provides direct care activities for individuals served, implements their Individual Support Plan, and teaches them personal and social living skills, simple academics and/or work skills. Ensures their safety and protection. Maintains records of individuals’ progress in an electronic medical records data base. Participates in case reviews. May assist with meal preparation, ensuring client group activity. Provides individuals with daily transportation as needed. Must be flexible and dependable.
Regularly required to sit; to use hands to feel and/or handle objects, tools or controls; reach with arms and hands; hear and speak. Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. Must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds. There are sustained incidences of public contact. May encounter various levels of emotional strain or tension.
High School Diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Good writing skills. Must be computer literate. Ability and skills to train individuals served.
Job Type: Full-Time OR Part-Time
Salary: $9.50 to $10.00 /hour

Pay: $11.00 - $11.25 per hour
