Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk Operations:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Manage communications: multi-line phone system, voicemail, patient portal messages
2. Patient Registration:
- Collect and update patient information accurately.
- Verify patient information and insurance details.
- Ensure completion of necessary forms and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Accurately process patient co-payments.
3. Administrative Support:
- Perform general office duties, such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and scanning
- Assist with data entry and record maintenance.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
5. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with medical staff and other team members.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Organize and maintain medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Retrieve and file medical records as requested by healthcare providers and staff
- Respond to requests for medical records from patients, insurance companies, and other authorized individuals or organizations
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers and staff as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
