Medical Receptionist

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Utilize electronic medical records system
- Assist with general office duties as needed

- Proficiency in using phone systems and office equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus

The successful candidate will have experience with phone systems, be familiar with Medical Receptionist duties, and have knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 18 per week
