Medical Receptionist

At the Breast Diagnostic Center, we are committed to providing the highest quality breast imaging services. We want our patients to feel well cared for in a pleasant environment and encourage them to actively participate in managing their breast health.

We are currently looking for 2 part time employees (0.4 FTE) to join our clerical team. These employees will work at the front desk of our North office.

Position Overview: The registrars are responsible for acting as the first point of contact for patients by greeting, gathering information, registering, and posting payments. They will assist technologists in preparing patients for their exams.

Hours: Monday - 4pm - 630pm, Tuesday - Thursday 4pm-830pm.

Hours for this role may vary slightly depending on company needs.

Business hours are: Monday - Thursday : 715a - 8p, Friday : 715a - 5p. If Saturday coverage is needed, hours would be : 715a - 2p.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage with patients to ensure their experience with us is exceptional
• Monitoring the patient’s status through the department, keep tabs on scheduled appointment time
• Ensure the patients are happy and comfortable
• Maintain tidy work environment
• Provide outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote a positive patient experience.
• Warmly greet and register arriving patients
• Collect necessary patient documentation, physician’s order, billing paperwork and appropriate examination documentation.
• Efficiently and accurately input patient information into EPIC
• Explain and assist patients with form completion
• All other duties as assigned by Manager
