Medical Receptionist

Employer is looking for a personable self motivated dependable person to perform:

```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update patient information in electronic medical records systems.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality

```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role

-Computers skills including us of spreadsheets, pdfs, etc.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle high-volume phone calls and patient inquiries
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
