McGill Family Practice is a full-service medical office in Papillion, NE. We provide general and family care to patients of all ages. We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and checking them in at the front desk.
- Answering high volume of phone calls.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Scheduling new patient appointments.
- Insurance verification
- Taking patient payments
- Maintain the security of the office, equipment, and supplies by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Scanning, filing, and organizing patient records using the EMR system.
- Communicating with patients by phone, email, and in person about their medical care.
- Communicating with physicians by phone, email, and in person about patient's medical needs.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
Required Skills:
·Strong phone skills including excellent verbal communication skills and active listening skills.
·Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with intermediate proficiency in Excel preferred.
·Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities in each task at hand.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 80 per week
