Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our pediatric practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, an ability to multi-task and prioritize, and a strong attention to detail. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and providing general administrative support. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children and families and is committed to providing the best possible care. The hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm, with the possibilibility for OT hours.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments and provide information about the practice.
• Collect patient information and enter it into the system.
• Assist with billing and insurance inquiries.
• Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide pediatric-specific information to patients and families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
