```Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments using electronic scheduling systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist preferred
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
