Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a medical office setting. Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as required - Follow office protocols and procedures to ensure smooth operations - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Requirements: - Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred - Strong knowledge of medical scheduling systems and office procedures - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically - Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus Note: This is a paid position.
