Medical Receptionist

Berkeley Eye Center has been a Houston vision care leader for over 60 years. Our office in Sugar Land, Texas is one of our newest locations and growing.

We are looking for someone to make a great first impression both in person and over the phone in the role of Medical Receptionist. This position will be one of wo handling check-in, check out, scheduling, insurance verification and directing the phone traffic.

Ideal candidates:

• 3+ years of experience in medical, strong preference for vision care experience.
• Ability to multi-task
• Superior customer service skills including friendliness, excellent communicaton technique, professional appearance
• Strong data entry experience
• In-depth knowledge of insurance plans.
• Integrity
• Dependable
• Flexible

M-F Office Schedule with no weekend or late nights expected.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
