Medical Receptionist

SVS Group currently has a contract - full time opportunity for a Medical Receptionistin the Chandler area. This position is a Monday - Friday 1st shift.

**This is a 13-week contract. **

Responsibilities include:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary copayments
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Pre-authorization experience required
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with electronic health record systems (Nextgen) is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
