Fast growing primary care office looking for a qualified Medical Office Manager to coordinate internal operations and physician schedules, and to ensure staff productivity/efficiency and that accurate records are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, an ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and patients, and three to five years of experience managing Medical Office operations. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a Medical Office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
- Coordinate patient scheduling, ensuring optimal use of provider time and efficient patient flow
- Monitor and manage office budget, including billing, accounts receivable, and expense tracking
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery and ensure high-quality service
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) system, to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient information
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in medical management practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a Medical Office management role required
- Knowledge of primary care office operations is a plus
- Familiarity with managed care systems and insurance billing processes
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
