Medical Office Manager

We are looking for a Medical Office Manager to manage our office procedures and daily operation of our clinic. Familiarity with AthenaHealth cloud base software is preferred. In this role, you oversee front office staff by setting schedules, approving payroll, and enforcing compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring proper customer services where patients come first. Other responsibilities include supervising the creation and management of electronic health records for our patients, which are essential for proper care, and fully and thoroughly manage our insurance billing. Medical Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities

· Schedule and oversee front desk staff

· Prepare payroll and approve overtime

· Supervise the creation of patient records

· Update office procedures

· Assist with insurance authorizations

· Fully manage insurance billing for service rendered.

· Maintain/manage provider schedule

· Ensure compliance with HIPAA as well as well as other industry standard policies

· Assist with receptionist tasks as needed

Medical Office Manager Requirements and Qualifications

· Experience working in a Medical Office, preferably in a supervisory role

· Strong understanding of medical terminology

· Organizational skills

· Computer skills: strong writing skills, oral communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,989.16 - $44,546.08 per year
