Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Maintain patient records and update information in electronic system and spreadsheets
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing accurate information or directing calls to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Process faxes
- Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with facility dog, such as playing with or taking for a walk
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstrates exceptional self motivation and initiative
- Experience working in a Medical Office setting with billing is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and staff members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
