Job Description
We are seeking for Medical Interpreters that are fluent in Spanish and English
To join our team at Grupo Noa International. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing live interpretation services over the phone and video between doctors and patients for our client. It is essential that the candidate can understand and interpret a variety of medical-related terminology and be knowledgeable about various medical processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide live interpretation services OPI and VRI between doctors and patients/clients
Accurately interpret conversations in Spanish and English language.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in interpreting medical information
Adhere to the code of ethics and standards of interpretation
Provide constant communication and updates to team leaders and supervisors
Requirements:
Fluent in Spanish and English language.
At least 1 year of experience with Medical Terminology is a must
Ability to work:
Minimum 6 hours - M-F - from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Internet connection of at least 10 MB download and upload. It must be connected via LAN cable. It cannot be wireless or through a data card. Check that latency doesn't go off over 100 ms. You can test these requirements by running a simple test at speedtest.net
Good Computer (processor: Intel Core i3 10th Gen or better - RAM: 6GB or better).
Headset: This headset can be simple, but it must connect to your computer via USB. This is to ensure proper phone behavior and call quality.
