Insurance Verification Specialist
Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain necessary information
- Update patient records with accurate insurance details
- Review and interpret insurance policies and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical billing team to resolve any insurance-related issues
- Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding insurance inquiries
Requirements:
- Previous experience in mental health Insurance Verification, preferably but will train -
- - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
