SalaryPrestigious dermatology office in Morgan Hill seeks full-time Patient Service Rep for front and back office duties. The schedule will be: Mondays in Hollister; Tuesdays through Fridays in Morgan Hill. 8:30am-5:30pm. Generous retirement plan and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and screen incoming calls.
- Check-in and greet and welcome visitors to ensure they register at the front desk.
- Answer and forward questions via email, fax or phone following up with patients and insurance companies to resolve concerns.
- Maintain medical records, incoming/outgoing mail, filing and other clerical duties (e.g. faxing, photocopying, bookkeeping).
- Input patients’ personal data into a database.
- Assist in ordering of forms, supplies and lab work.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones and schedule appointments.
Back Office Duties:
- Room and vitals
- Medication history
- Prep patients for procedures
- Assist provider in procedures such as biopsies, surgical procedures, and cosmetic treatments/procedures
- Instrument set-up
- Charting
- Assist MD as need
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
