Our dermatology clinic is seeking a licensed dermatologist to join our team as the Medical Director. This position will lead our team and contribute to the delivery of patient-focused medical services. The Medical Director will play a dual role, serving as both the Medical Director of the clinic and providing services directly to patients. This position involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve the clinic's goals.
Duties:
1. Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in patient care.
2. Manage the clinic's medical budgets and expenditures.
3. Recruit and train healthcare providers within the clinic.
4. Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in dermatological services.
5. Review escalated cases from other providers within the clinic, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
6. Ensure that all staff adhere to safety standards and deliver the highest quality of medical care.
7. Provide leadership and supervision to dermatologists, nurses, and support staff.
8. Conduct regular reviews of clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
9. Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
10. Patient assessment, review of diagnostic test results, and individual therapeutic consults.
11. Medication management, clinical documentation, prescribing, and chart review.
12. Comply with state and federal laws and regulations, including HIPAA requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Licensed and registered physician with experience in dermatology.
2. Board-certified Dermatologist.
3. Proven leadership skills in a clinical setting and experience in managing healthcare budgets.
4. Strong recruitment and training abilities for healthcare providers.
5. Active medical license in the state of Tennessee.
6. Ability to work positively and cooperatively within the policies and procedures of the clinic.
7. Strong commitment to patient care and the confidentiality of patient information.
