Job Description
The Assemblers assemble and repair rigid and flexible medical telescopes and industrial adapters.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembly & repair of rigid and flexible medical endoscopes
- Assemble and disassemble electronic components
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for assembly and complete within assigned time standards.
- Perform maintenance on equipment and work areas used by the department.
- Perform cleaning and inspection of various components
- Ability to cross-train in other assemblies
- Complete daily production documentation
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS: (ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)
- High school diploma or GED
- Hand assembly experience required
- Ability to use microscopes, small tooling, soldering equipment, solvents & adhesives required.
- Must possess the ability to understand assembly drawings and written assembly procedures.
- Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
- Basic PC skills
- Previous experience assembling optical parts is a plus
- Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment are crucial for successful employment.
The following physical demands are required:
- Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
