Medical Device Assembly-Direct Hire

The Assemblers assemble and repair rigid and flexible medical telescopes and industrial adapters.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembly & repair of rigid and flexible medical endoscopes
• Assemble and disassemble electronic components
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for assembly and complete within assigned time standards.
• Perform maintenance on equipment and work areas used by the department.
• Perform cleaning and inspection of various components
• Ability to cross-train in other assemblies
• Complete daily production documentation
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS: (ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

• High school diploma or GED
• Hand assembly experience required
• Ability to use microscopes, small tooling, soldering equipment, solvents & adhesives required.
• Must possess the ability to understand assembly drawings and written assembly procedures.
• Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
• Basic PC skills
• Previous experience assembling optical parts is a plus
• Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment are crucial for successful employment.

The following physical demands are required:

• Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
• Pre-Employment Screening: Drug screening and background checks are required.
