Mechanical Assembler (Medical Devices)

Essential Duties and Qualifications

· Performs duties in various duties in Assembly (aligns components, bolts and screws; bends and aligns to assemble system of gears), occasional helping other departments.

· Works with tight tolerances, measures, cleans and inspects parts.

· Is able to shift priorities and work in a fast-pace multitask environment.

· Responsible for key quality of the work.

· Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the work area at all times.

· Must work responsibly with or without supervision using effective communication skills; able to collaborate with various departments and all levels of team members.

· Helps reduce scrap/waste, cost, time.

· Reliable, timely and consistent attendance.

· Proper and adequate notification for any absences and/or PTO requests.

· Attire must be adequate and appropriate for work environment (no open toe shoe/sandals, explicit/offensive graphics on clothing, sleeveless shirts, etc.)

· Headphone/earbuds permitted in assembly department with expectation of being able to hear and or communicate with coworkers effectively.

· Responsible for a professional, well-mannered, and respectful environment during working hours.

· Must come prepared and ready for work.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
