Responsibilities:

• Assign accurate diagnostic and procedural codes to patient encounters

• Review medical records to abstract relevant information for coding purposes.

• Conduct thorough documentation reviews to ensure coding accuracy and completeness.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing staff to resolve coding-related issues and discrepancies.

• Perform other coding-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications you bring!

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.

• Experience in medical coding, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and coding software.
