Job Description:
The Medical Billing Manager will be responsible for a team of smart agents that work with a variety of different medical providers. The Billing Manager should be able to adapt and know the intricacies of each client and be able to help the team based on that client's needs.
Requirements:
- Able to Communicate successfully with all personalities.
- Adept at resolving complex customer issues with courtesy and professionalism.
- Computer skills including speed and accuracy in typing as well as confidence with spreadsheets, and quick at learning multiple EMR /EHR systems.
- Strong professional email and texting skills
- Organized with specific attention to details.
- Comfortable with interacting both virtually and in person with employer, peers, and clients
- Problem-solving skills and exhibit critical thinking.
- Work without constant oversite
- Results driven
Qualifications:
- Associate degree, or certifications in practice management
- 5 years work experience
- Customer service experience
- Call center or collection agency experience a plus
- Skilled in or has direct exposure to Medical Receivables terminology.
- Skilled in Insurance denial codes and appeals
An even balance of degree and experience will be reviewed. If a candidate has many years experience, having a degree can be overlooked.
