Medical Biller

Responsibilities:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding
- Submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- Utilize medical terminology, DRG, ICD-10, and CPT codes
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Handle medical collections when necessary
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Work with medical office systems for billing and collections

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
- Proficiency in medical coding and billing procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology, DRG, ICD-10, and CPT codes
- Familiarity with medical office systems for billing and collections
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
