Responsibilities:
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and insurance information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic life support techniques in emergency situations.
- Conduct diagnostic tests under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Assist with coding and billing procedures.
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Ensure a clean and organized medical environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Skills:
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- General knowledge of basic life support technique
