Medical Assistant Technician

Retina Consultants is seeking experienced Medical Assistants needed for our busy, eight provider ophthalmology offices. Ophthalmology knowledge is a plus, but training is provided on the job. Candidates will have opportunities to grow and cross-train within different clinical departments in the practice, from initial patient history, to diagnostic imaging and assisting our physicians during exams and procedures.

Key Tasks Include, but are not limited to:

· Chief complaints

· Input Medical/ Surgical History

· Check Visual Acuity

· Check Intraocular Pressure

· EMR Charting

Job Type:

· Full-time

Salary:

· $18+ per hour based on experience

Location:

· 5 Offices throughout Connecticut- travel is required based on staff schedule.
