Medical Assistant

Adecco Medical and Science is hiring a Medical Assistantin Marlborough, CT. This is an on-site / in person role. Please see below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type:                  Three-month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer

Time:                  7:30AM – 5:30PM Monday - Friday

Pay:                     $22.34 – 24.34 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:

·       Provide patient care, clinical summary and direction on next steps or follow up.

·       Act as a member of the care team, including preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording clinical information as per protocol

·       Document all patient interactions and other clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR)

·       Schedule tests, treatments and follow up visits on behalf of patients; assist patients with identifying suitable outside resources for disease management and other services; refer patients when appropriate

·       Monitor task buckets in order to respond to tasks in a timely manner, follow up on overdue orders/worklists and monitor status of critical referrals

Education/Requirements for Medical Assistant:

·       High School Diploma or GED

·       Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program

·       Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
