We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all assigned administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Escort patients to exam rooms
Qualifications:
- New MA Grads less than one year, we will provide training.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Seeking an outstanding established medical clinic manager or assistant medical manager with experience as Medical Assistant or LVN to become our office manager with the following:
* Ability to multitask is essential.
* Must have 2 or more years experience as a manager or an assistant manager
* Monitor daily basic billing and coding of Office procedures.
* Work with Medical practice marketer.
* Monitor, maintain and orders supplies.
* Monitor all licenses of medical staff.
* Perform interviews and staff evaluations.
* Pay medical aesthetic and other invoices.
* Monitor superbills, labs bills and electronic billing reports for accuracy.
* Ability to describe specific services and answer inquires.
* Familiar with the insurance referral process.
* Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills both oral and written.
* Must be able to lead and work cooperatively in a team environment.
* Communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service.
* Be friendly and greet all patients with a welcoming smile.
* Organized, with excellent time management skills.
* Follow written & verbal instructions clearly.
* Utilize great phone skills.
* Monitor patient flow to ensure all patients are seen in a timely manner.
* Follow-up phone calls/e-mails.
* Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
* Learn new skills quickly and have an outstanding work ethics.
* Must type at least 30 wpm, know Microsoft office with excellent computer skills.
* Maintain patient privacy (HIPPA).
* Must be punctual, and reliable.
* Keep work areas neat and clean at all times daily.
* Utilize and maintain EMR/EHR medical records daily.
* Hormone replacement therapy, weight management and Botox/ fillers, experience is a plus, but not required.
EDUCATION
-Associate's Degree, Bachelor, of Master
or
- Work related experience without a degree
EDUCATION: Medical Assistant experience is most important.
OFFICE HOURS: 8 AM TO 5 PM, Mon -Thur, Fri-Sat 8 AM TO 2 PM. Alternate weekend with assistant manager.
Open and close office.
