Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant, to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and implementing nursing interventions. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient health, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will not only assist with clinical duties but also handle various administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of our medical practice.

Responsibilities:

● Assessing and evaluating patient health status
● Developing and implementing nursing care plans
● Administering medications and treatments
● Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
● Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
● Providing patient education and support
● Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
● Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
● Phlebotomy, IV therapy

Qualifications:

● Valid license
● Graduation from an accredited program
● Proven experience as a Healthcare professional
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
● Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:
● Assist physicians and nurses with patient exams and minor procedures.
● Perform basic laboratory tests on the premises.
● Administer medications under direction of a physician.
● Draw blood and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
● Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.

Office Management:
● Oversee daily operations of the clinic/office.
● Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, and billing processes.
● Supervise administrative staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
● Manage patient flow, ensuring a balance between staff workload and patient wait times.
● Maintain an orderly office and medical supplies as necessary.

Communication:
● Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
● Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.

● Communicate with insurance companies for claim clarifications and approvals.
● Compliance and Training:
● Ensure the practice remains compliant with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
