We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting the medical staff in a hospital setting. Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist with patient check-in, registration, and scheduling appointments
- Provide medical administrative support such as maintaining patient records and updating electronic health records
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic coding tasks for billing purposes
- Assist with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
