The Medical Office Assistant works under the direct supervision of the clinic Nurse Practitioner according to the medical protocol set forth by NüPush Weight Loss Clinic. Under general direction, provides patient care; obtains patient’s vitals; administers injections; conducts urinalysis, EKG, body composition, and phlebotomy; documents patients’ progress; and assists with patient care management. The environment is fast-paced, and the position is multifaceted. Furthermore, a successful candidate will be someone who has an engaging, friendly personality who is a team player and eager to contribute as a front office assistant in managing patient leads, resolving patient issues, assisting with sales calls, and generally contributing to a great patient experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducts urinalysis, EKG, phlebotomy, and body composition
- Obtains patient’s vitals
- Administers IM injections
- Checks In/Out patients
- Organizes/optimizes schedule along with answering phone calls
- Assists with all administrative duties including, but not limited to, inventory management, procurement of patient labs, and filing medical records
- Assists with sales calls to prospective patient leads
- Proactively contributes to other areas of the business as necessary
