The Medical Assistant Role
Our Medical Assistants work in both the back-office and front-office and so everyone on the team helps out where needed. Doing what’s in the best interest of the patient is at the heart of what we do.

• Prepare patients for consultation, evaluation, and treatment
• Provide detailed descriptions of Red Mountain weight loss programs, med spa services, products, facility features, and hours of operation
• Clean and prepare exam rooms which include restocking medical supplies and educational materials
• Become a supportive partner on each patient’s journey, and ensure they stay empowered and motivated
• Observe, record, and report patient vitals, conditions, reactions, and past treatments to the medical provider
• Prepare and administer intramuscular injections
• Actively promote specials, promotions, and available discounts
• Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone
• Contact patients to follow up on their weight loss journey while they are in their weight loss window
• Promptly answer the phone, return patient phone messages and emails, and make confirmation calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist medical aesthetician in collecting specimens and procedures as requested
• Accurately schedule, change, confirm, and cancel appointments
• Count and balance cash drawer including a mid-day drawer count to check for discrepancies and maintain petty cash
• Conduct daily medication counts, place medication orders, and dispense medications

Just the Facts

• This is a full-time position.
• We’re looking for someone who can work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We do schedule 5 days per week.
• For this role, our pay ranges from $17 to $23 per hour depending on combined Medical Assistant and Customer Service experience.

About You

• You are friendly, positive, and non-judgmental with a strong desire to help others - a people person.
• You have graduated (or are close to graduating) from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Or, you have three (3) years of recent, full-time clinical Medical Assistant experience.
