Experience and Expertise Requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong preference for candidates possessing substantial dermatological assistance background
- Mandatory proficiency in Modernized Medicine (EMA) Charting, reflecting a minimum of one-year hands-on experience
- A proven track record of at least one year within a medical office setting
Core Responsibilities:
- Execute seamless management of incoming referrals, ensuring meticulous entry of all pertinent details into EMA system
- Accurately document comprehensive medical histories and current medication details for all patients
- Provide exemplary support to Physicians/Providers during patient examinations, adeptly transcribing all relevant notes into patient records
- Prepare and assist patients for a variety of dermatological procedures with professionalism and care
- Handle, process, and follow up on path/lab specimens, ensuring timely communication of results to patients and efficient organization of subsequent appointments
- Uphold the highest level of customer service in managing patient calls, ensuring a compassionate and supportive approach, alongside impeccable scheduling and follow-up communications
Educational Credentials:
- Mandatory completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred acquisition of recognized certification (e.g., Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Dermatology Technician)
