Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate should have experience working in a specialist practice (Vein Specialist preferred) or out-patient facility and assisting with procedures.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Greet all patients with a friendly smile, prepare patients for examination including; taking vital signs and documenting EMR chart with patient concerns, and symptoms
- Assist Providers with patient treatments
- Ensures patient safety and comfort at all times
- Travel to satellite offices, with travel reimbursement
- Assist with scheduling of requested testing and labs
- Ensure safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures
- Prepare solutions for injections
- Complies with Policies and Procedures, and adheres to safety guidelines to ensure a safe work and patient care environment
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
- BLS Certification (desired)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Polite and professional attitude with patients and co-workers
- Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task seamlessly
- Good time management
- Must be a team player
- Strong attention to detail
