Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical procedures. Responsibilities:

- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

- Assist with X-ray procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety

- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience

- Utilize your knowledge of physiology to accurately assess patients' conditions

- Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement

- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing paperwork

- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients

- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
