• We use eClinicalWorks. [eClinical Works , electronic medical records]
• We are a one doctor practice specializing in Internal medicine / Primary Care
• Hours are ... Monday - Thursday 8:30 to 5:00ish, Friday 8:30 to 12:00ish.
• 2 Weeks Paid Vacation [80 hours]
• 1 Week Paid Sick Leave [40 hours].
• Paid Holidays. [about 10 days per year]
• BCBS Insurance. We pay 60% of premium. [optional, employees choice]
• 401k retirement plan with employer contribution. [optional, employees choice]
• Pay will start between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour [based on experience]

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Familiar with eClinicalWorks , eClinical Works electronic medical records
• Greets patient from the reception area in a courteous manner. Escort patient to the exam room.
• Obtains and records vital signs. (Blood Pressure, Pulse, Weight, etc.) Assist the patient in preparation for exam.
• Assist Dr. Harrell with procedures performed during or as a result of exam. Performs unassisted procedures ( such as EKG ).
• Review patients medications and update any changes as needed.
• Performs "chart review" / chart check prior to patient visit.
• Assures and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Ability to schedule ancillary services as needed ( Patient Referrals ).
• Processes sterile medical equipment including use of autoclave.
• Maintain supply levels in exam rooms and supply areas.
• Adheres to dress code.
• Demonstrates courteous telephone manner.
• Demonstrates basic working knowledge of computer function.
• Observes universal precautions in the work place.
• Performs other duties as required. Willing to cross train to help cover when other employees are out.
