****Must have completed a Medical Assistant Program and Externship.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) by the American Association of Medical Assistants preferred or
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)-American Medical Technologists RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) through American Medical Technologists or equivalent preferred within 12 months of hire within 1 Year and
• BLS - Basic Life Support BLS for healthcare professionals certification. Required

MEDICAL ASSISTANTS

Must possess EXCELLENT Customer Service skills. A Medical Assistant Degree in Medical Assisting is required. Must be able to Triage patients, take vital signs, medical histories, assist providers with procedures and with the discharging of patients. Conduct simple tests, perform injections, inventory medical supplies and have a current CPR Certification. Candidates must have at least one year or more of Medical Assistant experience.

You must be able to work a every other weekend rotation, be scheduled any day of the week, Holidays and 12-13 hour shifts without restrictions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
