ResponsibilitiesOversees all video operations for non-football sports with the exception of baseball. Travels with team(s), when necessary. Coordinates distribution of senior tapes to professional teams. Organize and record all games, practices, and events available through Internet, Cable TV, Direct TV, and Dish Network for Softball, Women's Soccer, Volleyball, and Sand Volleyball. Manage all aspects of baseball video operations.
Maintains competency in technological advances in video/computer hardware and software. Assists in training new/current staff on video/computer hardware and software. Provides technical assistance to visiting team video staff. Responsible for equipment maintenance and assisting with gathering information on scouting software purchases.
Serves as Director of GA/Student Video Program. Communicates with the Director of Video on scouting and student program status. Oversees undergraduate and graduate assistants, volunteers, and OPS staff. Assist in scheduling of all workers through Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.
Attends staff meetings and instructional/educational conferences, as required. Records all pertinent data needed to assist in budget process. Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the comparable rate.)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience and knowledge with video/computer hardware and software.
- Experience working with XOS and/or DVSport film editing software
- Experience working with professional grade video cameras.
- Working knowledge of all varsity collegiate sports.
- Prior management experience.
