Job description

Job Title: Auto Dealership Warranty Administrator

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Auto Dealership Warranty Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all warranty claims and administration processes. You will collaborate with various departments, including service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers, to ensure timely and accurate processing of warranty claims. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of automotive warranty processes, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and administer all warranty claims, including submission, processing, and payment reconciliation.
2. Review and verify warranty claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with manufacturer guidelines and policies.
3. Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to gather necessary documentation and information for warranty claims, ensuring they are properly completed and submitted in a timely manner.
4. Follow up with manufacturers and suppliers regarding claim status, potential issues, and payment discrepancies.
5. Maintain comprehensive warranty records and documentation, including all necessary paperwork, invoices, and approvals.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for manufacturer representatives and resolve any warranty-related inquiries or disputes.
7. Stay informed about current warranty guidelines and processes by attending training sessions and staying updated on industry standards and regulations.
8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all warranty-related documents are easily accessible and secure.
9. Collaborate with dealership management to develop and implement strategies for maximizing warranty reimbursements and identifying areas for improvement.
10. Assist in other administrative duties as assigned, including data entry, filing, and providing support to the service department as needed.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education or relevant certification is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Warranty Administrator or in a similar administrative role within an automotive dealership.
3. Excellent knowledge of automotive warranty processes, manufacturer procedures, and applicable regulations.
4. Proficient in using dealership management software, computer systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with exceptional organizational skills.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, manufacturers, and customers.
7. Ability to work independently and effectively manage time to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
8. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with professionalism and tact.
9. Ability to adapt to changing processes and procedures and stay updated on new industry developments.
10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
